During the 10+ years she spent as a Sales Director & Educator for a national beauty distributor, Katie saw the dramatic shift of luxury brands from prestige to masstige alongside the emergence of ecommerce. Consumer brands have become increasingly focused on creating connection with customers through their own stores, websites, social media platforms, and online-only marketplaces. After the pandemic made the shift even more pronounced, Katie knew it was time to make a career change.

She has an affinity for classic cars and loves listening to jazz and blues. Her favorite musicians are Amy Winehouse, Elvis Presley, and Frank Sinatra. Katie loves animals, Pilates, interior design, and true crime documentaries.
